Chrissy Murderbot is a DJ, producer, and record label owner living in Chicago, US. Murderbot began buying rave, jungle, and house 12"s in the early 1990s, and played his first DJ gig in 1995 (at the tender age of 13!). Since then he has played at over 400 events in 15 countries, alongside electronic music legends such as Juan Atkins, 4Hero, Plaid, The Bug, Phil Hartnoll (Orbital), Ghislain Poirier, DJ SS, Remarc, Bizzy B, Nookie and more.

As a producer, Chrissy Murderbot first gained attention through his old-school-influenced neo-jungle tracks. His jungle productions tend to be very heavy on drumwork and edits, with a bit of gangsta rap and ragga influence. After successful jungle releases on Mashit, Clash, and various other labels, as well as a fair chunk of press exposure from XLR8R, Grooves, BBC Radio 1, Pitchfork Media, and loads of others, he founded his own label, Dead Homies, as an outlet for catchy, dancefloor-worthy, well-produced, forward-thinking jungle and dubstep. Eventually he set up a second label, Sleazetone Records, to put out sleaze pop, hi-NRG, bassline, tech house, juke/ghettotech, rave revival type stuff, speed garage, and anything else that strikes him as really amazing party music but doesn't fall under the rather strict mission statement of Dead Homies.
